Racism

What is Racism? How are me and you apart of racism? Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another. A person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics. Racial separatism is the belief, most of the time based on racism, that different races should remain segregated and apart from one another. Racism is a belief that racial differences produce and inherent superiority of a particular race of people. In some beliefs racism is a stereotype based on prejudices towards individuals of groups of people according to their race.

Racism can come in many formats. Racism is prejudice, discrimination, bias and xenophobia. They maybe different words but they all mean the same thing. The best in my option is discrimination. Discrimination is an act towards or against a person or group of people in a treatment based on class or category rather than individual merit. Another is prejudice, a belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another. Racism comes in many forms, it’s around us everyday but we just don’t see it as much like before. Racism is something that’s always going to be there through out history.

the basic of what i think racism is...

I THINK RACISM IS fields while they seat back and watch them sweat and get beat for no reason and the woman’s would get rape and have all them babies because they believe that’s the only thing they are good at I don’t think it was fair for the whites to get a good education and the blacks had to struggle to get there and we didn’t have no freedom we couldn’t ride the front of the bus or we couldn’t drink off the same waters or nothing wherever they went we had to stay home and cook and clean and whenever we would make a mess or something they would call us a nigger and they will beat us if we talk back to them or try to escape from them and when we are innocent they don’t want to hear nothing that comes out of our mouths because they WHEN ITS HATRED AGAINST ANOTHER COLOR OR HUMAN AND THE BELIEF OF DISLIKING THE PERSON ON HOW THEY Carry they self as a human or they actions like for example the whites and blacks didn’t get along because of there color and plus they believe blacks was ignorant and they don’t have it all and the whites was better because they have everything education and they have fancy houses while the blacks had to work in the cotton believe we are worthless kind of people that’s why every time they see us they would look at us funny and they don’t like to be seen with us and they don’t even socialize with us and you have some that don’t even let they kids even talks to black kids because that’s how they raised they kids up like that.

RACISM

The definition of the word rasicm came from colored people.rasicm happened way back when slavery was going on.white people didnt like black people or should i say hate them.they use to do really bad things to colored people.the word rasicm means when you dont like someone thts another race but your own.i personally think their should be no such thing as the word rasicm i dont like that because i think everybody should like eachother no matter what race they are.all people that are racis should be terminated off the face of this earth because i dont think that is rite at all .

                                                          what is racism????
Many people forgot the word racism because they believe that this word doesn't apply anymore. Do you know that we are living in a country that base everything on color. But things have to change because we have a black president now many people are very mad. They are mad because we started off as the lowest people in the world "slaves" and they see that we overcome something. so even tho many people are getting mad cause the black community has risen up from poverty and they see that we want to make a difference  they get  mad that we are becoming something.

Did you think outside the box today?

Thinking outside means to extend your thinking to a next level. To understand why thinking is a part of life, in order to know something you have to think about it first. This class isn't just about thinking but also making connections to history and not just blaming slavery on one but another. In this class we made many communications and a lot of debates on weather a situation is right or wrong; it was sort of like a mini protest against believers and non believers.  I believe that this class would really change someone's mind by extending their point of views on certain situation.

Equal rights... We learned the true definition of equal rights, we watched a document about blacks and whites; Blacks, Latinos, Chinese and Italians were considered blacks and had no equal rights while the white people had many. People may believe that black people really have equal rights but thats false. Black people are feared today in society so they take what they want. Equality? yes we have that now but why over fear? yes. During class we made many dialogues with each other to make our point of views valid.

Thinking outside the box to means learning and discussing may issues affecting the ism's. while i was involved in the class, i learned that many people over the world are going through what many americans in America go through. this class also means helping one another out. Either it is by writing blogs to inform people about issues we may face, and how to over come it. i also think this class is about expressing your feelings on world and community issues.

Racism

Racism is a problem to our people in our country. Folks has been judged by their color, or how wealth they are. racism is a terrible movement that mostly prejudices people follow. It can hurt people very bad

About thinking outside the box
Thinking outside the box to me is when you look at a variety of isms in different ways. this college and Carree intensive taught me the good and bad about how people react to different isms. for example... racism while watching documentaries i learned that racism happening in other places in the world. Racism from the white and blacks. That is what i learned in class.
One thing i learned in class was that going in to college the college schools look at your 10th and 11th grades. i was just going to try really hard the last year and try to get in to college. but now i know that i have to do good now so i have to pick my grades. that helped me a lot because now i know what to do to get in to college.

Unlock your Box and Think outside the box!!!!

In Life we all believe in doing what we think is right. Surrounding yourself with people who are always optimistic not caring what others may think or suggest. However thinking outside the box might destined someone who is really ordinary or just a regular person to become famous or wealthy in life. I took a class called "Thinking Outside the Box"....

At first, everything about this class seemed blur and bizarre to me. I thought to myself I don't wanna be here or even participate in any activities. But not withstanding it came out great and most of all I learned gradually about sterotypes and people's identity as well. Even the book we read "A Hero ain't nothing but a Sandwich" reveals that if life gets you anywhere in some circumstances sometimes, you have no option than to be ready for whatever and to learn how to benefit with what you have. Perharps cherish those in your life because they might be gone tommorrow!!
